Licensed, dedicated Lower School teacher needed at IC Imagine Charter School in Asheville, NC.  

 

The teacher is expected to plan for and implement relevant and appropriate grade level curriculum aligned to the State Standards. The teacher serves in a leadership role to establish an elementary program and a class environment that promotes social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth by providing rich and engaging experiences.  The teacher establishes effective rapport with students, motivates students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for learning, in accordance with each student’s ability.  This individual creates and maintains good relationships with parents and other staff members.

 

Salary based on IC Imagine’s Certified/ Licensed Teachers Salary Schedule.  

 

Merit-based bonuses are determined based on EVAAS student growth measurement during the preceding school year. These bonuses are in addition to any that a teacher earns and is required to be paid by the State of North Carolina.

 

Year-end bonus for all employees, contingent upon available funding.
